Last orders for the world’s best booze magazine

After five amazing years we are calling time on Hot Rum Cow. The latest issue – The Tequila Issue – will be the last published.

Hot Rum Cow was created by content marketing agency White Light Media in 2012 with the intention of creating the best booze magazine in the world, and, this summer, we achieved just that when Hot Rum Cow won Best Cocktail and Spirits Publication at the drinks industry’s Oscars – The Tales of the Cocktail Spirited Awards in New Orleans.

However, our single key objective with the magazine was always to showcase the creativity of our main business, White Light Media. It has achieved this in spades, transforming perceptions of the work we can do. 

Hot Rum Cow Publisher and White Light Media CEO, Fraser Allen says: “As our business continues to evolve, we're setting our sights on a new and very exciting project that we will be launching in 2018, and taking our foot off the Hot Rum Cow pedal. This will also allow us to invest more time in our other independent drinks project, World Whisky Day, a global project with huge potential.”

What about subscribers?

All outstanding subscribers will be refunded and this website will remain open for people to buy back issues. We will be contacting all subscribers directly to make the necessary arrangements. We’ll also continue to put out Hot Rum Cow posts on social media, so keep following.
